Jeff Harris Recognized as “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend for 2021
Harris Lowry Manton LLP is proud to announce that founding partner Jeff Harris has been honored in Georgia Trend’s 2021 “Legal Elite” issue for his exceptional personal injury work.
For the last 19 years, Georgia Trend has recognized attorneys throughout the state who are considered the best in their field of practice. This statewide business publication publishes an annual Legal Elite issue every December, honoring the state’s top attorneys in a wide range of practice areas.
To be eligible for consideration, attorneys must be members of the state Bar of Georgia and must live and practice in the state. Nominations are submitted by other attorneys, which means the “Legal Elite” list is based solely on peer review and recognition.

Jeff Harris is an award-winning trial attorney who has secured hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of clients throughout the state, advocating for clients in the courtroom and beyond. Major awards include a $40 million verdict against the Ford Motor Company, a $17.5 million federal judgment against the City of Atlanta and Clear Channel, a record-setting $18 million verdict against SouthCoast Medical Group in Chatham County, and an $11.2 million verdict on behalf of the family of late camera operator Sarah Jones, to name a few.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has handled some of the most high-profile civil cases in Georgia; his cases and work have been featured in state and national news publications, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, USA Today, The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and many others. He has also been interviewed as a legal expert on CNN, MSNBC, 20/20, CBS Evening News and other national media outlets.
Jeff successfully litigates cases involving aviation accidents, bad faith, business disputes, catastrophic injury, industrial accidents, medical negligence, product defects, and wrongful death. As one of the more accomplished litigators in Georgia, Jeff’s assistance is often requested by other attorneys embroiled in complex cases of their own.
