WTOC’s The Morning Break Features Steve Lowry on Harris Lowry Manton’s First Responders Celebration
Harris Lowry Manton LLP partner Steve Lowry was featured on WTOC’s The Morning Break, discussing the firm’s 13th annual First Responders Appreciation Luncheon honoring the police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and all other first responders and heroes who serve the Savannah community and beyond.
The event has grown to serve more than 500 first responders every year, and several local businesses have donated more than 30 prizes.
This year, the Honor Mark Foundation will also have a table at the celebration. The foundation carries on the legacy of Mark Hummeldorf, a Richmond Hill Marine veteran and firefighter killed in a car accident in 2017 and works to support first responders facing challenges.
“We just do this to honor them [first responders] and to celebrate them and give them a day where they can enjoy some good food, some music, and just be outside with friends,” Steve told WTOC.
